Smeltzer Earns All-AMCC Honors
GREENSBURG, PA: The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference has announced that Doug Smeltzer has earned All-AMCC Second Team honors for his performance during the 2013 tennis season.
Smeltzer , a freshman, was a major contributing factor in the Bobcats play-off run in both doubles and singles play. The #1 doubles team of Smeltzer and
Zachary Pivirotto (Export, PA, Franklin Regional) earned two conference wins after facing the AMCC’s best night in and night out.
From the #4 singles spot, Smeltzer would compile a 6-3 overall record and a 4-1 AMCC mark to lead the Bobcats in individual wins.
