Kyle Bondi has been named this week’s Bobcat Athlete of the Week, for his noteworthy efforts against Mt. Aloysius and Penn State Behrend. In the two games last week, Bondi averaged 12.5 points, three rebounds, and totaled four steals, which was tied for the most on the team. The senior guard hit 11-of-23 attempts from the field, went 1-of-3 from three-point distance, and hit both of his free-throw attempts. Bondi’s best game of the week came on Senior Day against Behrend, where he totaled 15 points, four rebounds, two steals, and hit 6-of-14 field goals. As a team, Pitt-Greensburg shot a remarkable 92.9% from the free-throw line, hitting 26-of-28.
