Matt Johnson started both games for Pitt-Greensburg this past week, where he propelled the Bobcats to wins over both Penn State Altoona and D'Youville. With the wins, Pitt-Greensburg is off to its best start in program history (6-1) since the Bobcats joined the NCAA in 1997. In the two wins, Johnson averaged 23.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, shot 56.7% from the field, 56% from three, and hit 7-of-9 from the foul line. In the win over the Lions, Johnson poured in 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting, knocked down 2-of-3 from behind the three-point arc, and hit 3-of-5 from the foul line. Against D'Youville, Johnson tallied 21 points, dished out six assists, made 7-of-15 field goal attempts, knocked down 3-of-6 from three, and connected on all four free-throw attempts.Â
