Matt Johnson helped propel the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team to victories this past week over Penn College (103-80) and at Medaille (89-70). Johnson was the Bobcats' high scorer in both contests and over the two-games, averaged 21.5 points, shot 62.1% (18-29) from the floor, and knocked down 50% (6-12) of his attempts from behind the three-point arc. Against Penn College, Johnson tallied 18 points, on 7-of-13 from the floor and 4-of-7 from behind the three-point arc. In the victory over the Wildcats, Pitt-Greensburg set a school-record for three-pointers made in a game (20). The junior guard followed his performance against Penn with a 25-point effort, his second highest in a single game so far this season. The victory for Pitt-Greensburg was its first against Medaille since January 9, 2016.Â
