Box Score
STEUBENVILLE, OH: Trying to avoid falling to 0-2 in the conference, the Pitt-Greensburg Lady Bobcats pulled out an important 1-0 road victory at Franciscan University on Tuesday.
UPG's
Shannon Wygonik scored her second collegiate goal on a pass from
Courtney Carroll in the 26
th minute giving the Bobcats a 1-0 lead. Pitt-Greensburg outshot the Barons in the first half 11-10 and held a 1-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The Bobcat defense fought off each Baron offensive, and Hydock was solid between the pipes, making 6 saves in the second half. They also got a fortunate break in the 67
th minute when a Baron shot clinged off the crossbar, nearly tying the game.
Franciscan outshot UPG 23-16 on the day and had a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks, but Pitt-Greensburg held a 1-0 advantage in the only category that counts, good enough for their first conference victory of the season.
