Bobcats take down Hilbert 1-0
Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa: The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team edged Hilbert College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Ridilla Field. The Bobcats are now 6-6-1 overall and 2-2-1 in the AMCC, while the Hawks fall to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

The Bobcats had scoring opportunities in the first half, totaling 7 shots, but could find the back of the net. The game would remain scoreless heading into halftime.

Stephanie Wehner (Pittsburgh, PA, North Hills) would loft a ball into the box, where
Abigail Pasierb (Chambersburg, PA, St. Maria Goretti) knocked the ball off of her chest into the goal to give the Bobcats a 1-0 advantage. The goal was Pasierb's fifth of the year.

Shannon Edwards (Fayetteville, PA, Chambersburg) and the defense would hold strong for the remainder of the game, only allowing one shot on goal in the second half. Edwards had three saves in her third shutout of the year.
