Box Score Cresson, PA:  The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team remained perfect in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play after posting a shutout performance against Mount Aloysius.  The Bobcats improve to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference, while the Mounties fall to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the AMCC.

Pitt-Greensburg didn't waste much time on Friday, moving right through the doubles matches to jump out to a 3-0 lead.  In #1 doubles, Tomas Monti/Anthony Backowski cruised to an 8-1 win, much like the #2 pairing of Matt Kimmel/Tyler Fox who also picked up a lopsided 8-2 victory.  Jakob Schafer/Brock Hanak rounded out the doubles segment with a win of their own, 8-5.

The Bobcats would carry the momentum into singles play, running right through the Mounties and picking up straight set victories in all six spots.  #1 Monti triumphed 6-1/6-0, #2 Backowski 6-1/6-3, #3 Kimmell 6-3/6-2, #4 Fox 6-1/6-1, #5 Shafer 6-4/6-3, and finally #6 Hanak by a 6-1/6-3 score.

They'll be no rest for the Bobcats as they travel to Bethany College for a 1:00pm non-conference match up with the Bison on Saturday.
