Box Score MONROEVILLE, PA:  After a fourth place regular season finish, the Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team was eliminated from the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships by #1 seed Franciscan University.

Saturday's results brings 2015 to a close for the Bobcats as they finish with a 4-6 overall record.

A Barons' sweep of the doubles portion would put Pitt-Greensburg in an early hole that would be tough to climb out of against the AMCC's top team.  Losses at #1 and #2 singles would follow leading to the end of the playoffs for UPG by a 5-0 score.

2015 marks the third straight season the Bobcats have made conference championships, with their top finish coming last year after falling in the championship game by a 5-4 score.  Moving forward, the Bobcats will miss the contributions of graduating seniors Anthony Backowski (Harrison City, PA, Penn Trafford), Jeremy Niemiec (Scottdale, PA, Southmoreland), and Jakob Schafer (New Kensington, PA, Valley), who help make up the winningest class in UPG men's tennis history.
