BUFFALO, N.Y.-
Jessica Moore and
Bri Burgunder each scored two goals to lead the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team to a 5-0 shutout of D'Youville on Saturday afternoon.
The victory for Pitt-Greensburg was its third in a row and the fourth in its last five matches. The Bobcats improve to 6-7-2 overall and 4-1-1 in AMCC, while D'Youville falls to 5-8-1 and 1-5 in conference play.
Along with the two goals each by Moore and Burgunder,
Camille Hickman tallied her fourth goal of the season,
Kayleen Schwegler added two assists to push her season total to seven as well as her point totaled to 23.
Rachel Steinmark and
Kelcey Hickman also got in on the scoring outburst as they each added an assist on the afternoon.
The Bobcats led 2-0 heading towards the halftime break but with 40 seconds left in the half, Burgunder netted her first goal of the day. Just over a minute into the second half,
Burgunder found the net for her second goal and Moore drilled her second in the 50
th minute as Pitt-Greensburg went on for the 5-0 victory.
Pitt-Greensburg goes for four-straight wins Wednesday, when it plays host to Mt. Aloysius at 2:00 p.m.
