Box Score ERIE, Pa:  The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team fell by a 5-0 score to reigning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference champion Franciscan University on Saturday.

The Bobcats who've qualified for four straight conference playoff appearance bow out of the AMCC Championships and end their season with a 6-5 overall record.  Franciscan moves on to the finals while improving to 9-8 overall.

The Barons jumped out to an early lead with a sweep of the doubles portion.  They'd earn convincing wins at the #2 and #3 spots but have to work to defeat the #1 pairing of Zachary Pivirotto (Export, PA, Franklin Regional) and Doug Smeltzer (Latrobe, PA, Greater Latrobe) who took their counterparts down to the wire before eventually falling 9-7.

Straight set wins by Franciscan in the #2 and #3 singles spots sealed the Bobcats fate, moving the margin to a contest winning 5-0 score.
