Men's Tennis Drops AMCC Match At Penn State Altoona Sunday Afternoon

ALTOONA- The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team (1-3, 1-1 AMCC) dropped a 9-0 decision to Penn State Altoona (2-0, 2-0 AMCC) in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match Sunday afternoon at the Gorilla House Gym. 

Altoona jumped out to a 3-0 lead, taking all three doubles matches and would complete the afternoon with wins in all six singles matches. 

The Lions won the first two doubles matches by 8-2 decisions, but Michael Rosky and Jeremy Simms made things close at three doubles, but ultimately would fall 8-5. 

Terrance Madarish forced a tie-break in the first set of his singles match, but would lose the tiebreak 7-5 and came up short in the second set, 7-5. 

The Bobcats return to action Tuesday evening when they face St. Vincent at 8 pm.
