Women's Basketball Wins Second Consecutive Game Behind McCully's Big Performance

Box Score LEMONT FURNACE, PA – After a rough couple weeks, the Bobcat women's basketball team is looking up as the team won its second–consecutive game on Tuesday. Pitt-Greensburg defeated the Lions of Penn State Fayette 74-51 behind AMCC Player of the Week Sidney McCully's 25 points and seven rebounds.
 
Sophomore Melina Maietta also had a solid game on both ends, scoring 16 points and recording three steals. The Bobcats also got a solid performance from their bench, which is something that is welcomed by the team as they played many games with limited subs. F
 
Freshman Chloe Lukondi scored seven points, including going 3 for 3 from the free throw line. Another freshman Kayla Hoehler also had a solid game as a reserve, scoring six points, securing five rebounds and dishing out two assists.
 
It will be a quick turnaround for the Bobcats as they will look to extend their win streak to three games on Thursday when they travel to Waynesburg to take on the Yellow Jackets. The game will tip off at 7 PM.
