Seven Different Bobcats Score; Women's Soccer Defeats Alfred State

GREENSBURG – It was a day of celebrations for the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team as the 2022 AMCC Championship Team received their rings prior to warmups. After the ring ceremony, the Bobcats team, coaches, and supporters celebrated the senior class.
 
The celebrations didn't end there. Seven different Bobcats found the back of the net in the match, including five in the second half. Pitt-Greensburg was up 2-1 at half, but once again, they had a flurry of second half offense, including 14 shots. Sophomore Megan hickey had a four-point match as she scored the Bobcats final goal and added two helpers to her stats. Fellow sophomore Maya Wertelet added to her AMCC lead in goals as she now sits at 16 on the season.
 
The Bobcats will make a trip to Highmark Stadium for the second time this season, this time to face AMCC foe Carlow. Kickoff will be at 4:00 pm.
