Women's Soccer Has Record-Setting Performance Against Wells

CRESSON – Three different Bobcats scored multiple goals, including a hat trick by sophomore Maya Wertelet in the Bobcats dominating win over the Express of Well College. Megan Hickey and Cora Forney each had a brace while Reese Walker and Kylie Smith scored as well as Hailey Miller and Maggie Knorr scoring their first collegiate goals. 
 
In the win, the Bobcats set the school record for goals in a match (11), as well as tying the mark for second most shots in a game with 51. The team also annihilated the previous record for points in a match as the Bobcats tallied 39 points (11 goals, 7 assists) surpassing the previous record of 27 against PS Beaver in 2012. 
 
The Bobcats had 25 shots on goal for the game and 12 corner kicks. Pitt-Greensburg will head right back to Cresson on Tuesday as the Bobcats will take on the Mounties of Mount Aloysius. Kickoff will be at 5 PM.
