WASHINGTON, PA – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team opened its season with a tough opponent in Ohio Wesleyan in the W&J Tip-Off Tournament. The short -handed Bobcats dropped the game 98-29. 
 
Pitt-Greensburg's High Scorer was junior Melina Maietta who had eight points to go with three rebounds and two steals. Fellow junior Kiera Coleman brought down seven rebounds to go with four points. Freshman Malina Boord played a team-high 35 minutes and scored six points while going 2-for-6 from behind the arc. 
 
The Bobcats will look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on the Tartans of Carnegie Mellon at 1 PM.
