Women's Soccer Net Nine Goals, Score Clean Sheet Against Bradford

Bradford, Pa – The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team kicked off AMCC play with a bang as the team scored nine goals, while not giving up one, as they took on the Panthers of Bradford today. 
 
Sophomore Maya Wertelet scored four goals while freshman Paige Inman scored three goals of her own. Sophomores Reese Walker and Kylie Smith each found the back of the net as well. Pitt-Greensburg recorded 36 shots with 19 of them getting on goal. The Bobcats kept the pressure on the Panthers as they tallied 15 corner kicks while Bradford did not take one. Junior Sarah Tonkovich had two assists in the match.
 
The Bobcats will go back to non-AMCC Play this week as they will travel to take on the Eagles of Juniata this Wednesday at 7 pm.
