Maietta Achieves Career Milestone, Women's Basketball Fall to La Roche

GREENSBURG – Ina night that points were a premium for the Bobcat women's basketball team, Melina Maietta became the newest member of the Bobcat Basketball 1,000-point club as she scored 20 points and was Pitt-Greensburg's leading scorer.
 
Sophomore Madison Scalese was the other Bobcat in double digits with ten points. Malina Boord brought down the team lead in rebounds with nine as she also scored seven points. The Bobcats shot just 33.3 percent from the floor while La Roche was able to hit over 58 percent of their shots. Dasja Anderson and Makayla Abram were the two leading scorers for the RedHawks, primarily in the post.
 
The Bobcats will look to bounce back this Saturday in an all-Pitt matchup against the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford. Tip off will be at 2:00 PM inside Chambers Hall.
