Women's Basketball Has Strong Performance in Loss to Kenyon

GAMBIER, Ohio - Autumn Matthews notched her first-career double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds, but the Bobcats shot 2-of-22 from behind the arc and fell to Kenyon 69-60. Tiana Moracco scored a game-high 19 points with eight boards, and Jocelyn Bielak and Trinity Lockwood-Morris scored in double-figures. 
 
Both teams made under 11 field goals in the second half, but Kenyon shot 9-of-12 from the free throw line while Pitt-Greensburg shot just eight shots from the line. Bielak led the Bobcats with four free throws attempted. UPG had a season-low 11 turnovers in the game while forcing 20. Pitt-Greensburg scored 17 points off those 20 turnovers. 
 
The Bobcats secured 13 offensive rebounds while giving up just nine but could only capitalize on nine second-chance points. The Bobcats ran the floor well, scoring 23 points in the fast break and 40 of the team's 60 points in the paint.
 
The Bobcats will be off for Finals Week until Dec. 18, when they will travel to Fifth Ave. to take on Carlow. The game will be played at Oakland Catholic High School, and tip-off will be at 7 PM.
