Panthers Take Down Women's Basketball in Regular Season Finale

BRADFORD – A combined 37 points between freshmen Sarah Penrod and Malina Boord, along with 15 points by Tiana Moracco and 14 points by Madison Scalese was not enough as the Bobcats fell to Pitt-Bradford in the team's regular season finale 86-77.

The Panthers held AMCC Player of the Week and the Bobcats leading scorer, junior Melina Maietta to just four points in 39 minutes on 1-16 shooting. After making six three pointers in the first half, Pitt-Greensburg was only able to hit two in the second half. 14 of the Bobcat's 22 free throws came in the fourth quarter, making 12 of them.

The Bobcats are locked in for a rematch with Mount Aloysius this Tuesday inside Chambers Hall. The game will be part of a doubleheader with the men. This is the second-consecutive season that Chambers Hall will host a first-round playoff doubleheader.
