Men's Tennis Fall Short Against PS Behrend

GREENSBURG - The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team played its final home AMCC match against PS Behrend on Sunday, falling to the Lions 9-0.


The match up at No. 5 Singles went into a tiebreak as Cole McGurk took the second set to force an extra.McGurk fell in set one 6-2, but came back to win the second set 6-7. Shayne Kasic also battled in No. 6 single, just missing on an opening set victory and fell in set two 2-6.

Behrend swept doubles play, however, Kasic and freshman Ryan Cole gave the No. 3 singles pair a run, as they fell just short 4-8.

The Bobcats will compete in their final AMCC match on Monday as they will travel to Mou nt Aloysius.
