CRESSON - The Pitt-Greensburg women's cross country team finished second of five teams in the Mountie Invitational, hosted by Mount Aloysius. Trinity Lockwood-Morris had a top-five finish, running the event in 23:28.10. Lockwood-Morris was the top finisher for the Bobcats. Melanie Mienke also had a strong race, finishing in ninth with a time of 25:46.80. Abby Copeland finished just outside the top ten in the No. 11 spot.

Overall, the Bobcats finished with a team score of 55, good enough to finish right behind Carlow, who won the event with a team score of 28.The Bobcats will bring the Pitt-Greensburg Fall Classic back next weekend at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds. The women's race will start at 10:00 AM.
