Women's Soccer Plays to Draw with Gwynedd Mercy

GWYNEDD VALLEN, Penn – The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team was clicking on almost all cylinders today as they battled the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy. The Bobcats totaled 28 shots, 11 of which getting on goal, but the team was just missing the one ball to get to the back of the net. Pitt-Greensburg held the Griffins to just four shots, with one getting on goal.
 
The game ended in a 0-0 draw. The Bobcats had 17 shots in the second half alone, and seven corner kicks in each half. Junior Megan Hickey tallied nine shots alone to lead the team. Senior Keeper Paige John played the full 90 in net, making one save.
 
The Bobcats will head to Waynesburg to take on the Jackets on Tuesday. Kickoff will be at 7:30 PM.
