GREENSBURG, PA—The Pitt-Greensburg Department of Athletics, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Student PSEA, and the Bobcat Basketball teams are hosting athletes from the Westmoreland County Chapter of the Special Olympics during the Bobcat basketball doubleheader on Saturday, January 25.

The athletes will be recognized during halftime of the men's game, followed by a pickup game on the Chambers Hall court. Everyone coming to the game will also have a chance to support the athletes, as partial proceeds from ticket sales and a 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.
 
The Special Olympics of Westmoreland County is a local organization whose goal is to create a supportive and loving community for athletes on and off the basketball court where they feel comfortable being who they are.

Come to Chambers Hall this Saturday to see the men take on Penn State Behrend at 2 p.m., with the SOPA team taking the court at halftime. The women's game will follow at 4 p.m.
