The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday evening, blanking La Roche 6-0 at the Baierl Athletic Complex to earn their third conference win of the season.

The Bobcats (6-7-2, 3-1-1 AMCC) controlled the match from start to finish, scoring once in the first half before erupting for five goals in the second. Sophomore Bella Carroto led the offensive charge with a second-half hat trick, scoring in the 80th, 82nd, and 83rd minutes to seal the win.

Megan Hickey opened the scoring in the 25th minute with an unassisted strike and added her second goal in the 65th minute off a feed from Riley Gesinski. Sarah Folmer also found the back of the net early in the second half, converting in the 52nd minute to make it 2-0.

Carroto's first goal came in the 80th minute, followed by two more in quick succession. Dionna Santia assisted on both of Carroto's final two goals, both headers off of corner kicks.

Pitt-Greensburg outshot La Roche 13-2. Goalkeeper Kira Howcroft earned the shutout without needing to make a save, as the Bobcat defense stifled the Redhawks' attack throughout the match.

The Bobcats look to remain hot as the travel to Hilbert on Saturday for another AMCC matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 1PM.
