Offense Goes Cold in Women's Basketball Loss to Carlow

GREENSBURG, PA – The Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team has been fighting injuries in recent times, but that didn't stop them from taking the Chambers Hall court on Wednesday as the Carlow Celtics paid the Bobcats a visit. Freshman Jocelyn Bielak scored 14 points and secured ten rebounds, but Carlow's Sydney Carr stole the show as she scored 20 points with 15 rebounds as the Celtics took down Pitt-Greensburg 82-36.
 
The Bobcats shot just 17 percent from the floor and 19 percent from behind the arc, while Carlow made 33 shots from the floor and nine three-pointers. Freshman Rakiyah Porter shot 4-for-5 from the free-throw line, while junior Trinity Lockwood-Morris secured eight rebounds.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will have a bye this weekend, followed by the RedHawks of La Roche returning to Chambers Hall on Feb.12. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m.
