Bowling Earns Three Wins in AMCC Round Robin Day One

GREENSBURG, PA – The Pitt-Greensburg women's bowling team sits in third place after a three-win day on the first day of competition of the second AMCC Round Robin. The Bobcats had a total pinfall of 3,041 and sit behind Saint Vincent and William Smith.
 
Senior Kayla Gaughan finished the day with a 172 average, which placed her in the top ten of the individual standings. Freshman Phoebe Richard had the best day of her season, as she bowled in all four matches and accounted for a 166.75 average to round out the top ten.
 
The Bobcats were defeated by Pitt-Bradford in the day's first match but rallied in the final three to beat Hilbert, Penn State Behrend, and Alvernia. The Bobcats are looking to make a run for the program's first appearance in the AMCC Tournament in program history.
 
The Bobcats will return to Hillview Lanes tomorrow for the final day of the competition.
