Pitt-Greensburg delivered a dominant performance on the road, blanking Oberlin 4–0 at Shults Field to earn their first win of the season and improve to 1–1–0.
The Bobcats struck early in the 7th minute when Maya Wertelet found the back of the net off a corner sequence, assisted by Megan Hickey. The opening goal set the tone for a match that Pitt-Greensburg controlled from start to finish.
In the second half, the Bobcats poured it on. At the 57-minute mark, Abigail Ault scored her first collegiate goal on a perfect centering pass from Wertelet, who was a constant threat in the midfield. Just six minutes later, Riley Gesinski broke through the Oberlin defense and finished a well-timed through ball from Wertelet, making it 3–0.
The final goal came in the 67th minute when Sarah Folmer converted a pass from Gesinski, capping off a clinical attacking display.
Defensively, Kira Howcraft was outstanding in her first career start, recording four saves and earning the shutout.
Pitt-Greensburg will look to carry this momentum into their home opener on Saturday against Penn State Harrisburg, with kickoff set for 4:30 PM.
