Pitt‑Greensburg fell on the road Saturday afternoon, dropping an AMCC matchup at Alfred State, 81‑50, at the Orvis Activities Center.

The Bobcats faced an early challenge as Alfred State came out with pace and pressure, scoring the game's first six points before Addison Musto got Pitt‑Greensburg on the board with a layup midway through the opening quarter. Ca'Mari Walden later added a basket in the paint off a Kaprice Johnson assist, but Alfred State capitalized on transition opportunities and turnovers to build a 24‑6 lead by the end of the first period.

Pitt‑Greensburg found better offensive rhythm in the second quarter. Walden knocked down a pair of free throws, and Musto connected from beyond the arc to provide a spark. Phoebe Snyder followed with a three‑pointer of her own as the Bobcats worked to chip away at the deficit. Alfred State, however, closed the half on a strong stretch, taking a 44‑18 advantage into intermission.

The Bobcats continued to compete in the second half, looking to establish an inside presence. Snyder opened the third quarter with a jumper, while Jocelyn Bielak scored multiple times in the paint as Pitt‑Greensburg generated second‑chance opportunities. Despite the effort, Alfred State maintained control and extended its lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Pitt‑Greensburg turned in its most productive offensive stretch in the final period, scoring 19 points. Walden attacked the basket early, Johnson added a tip‑in midway through the quarter, and Musto drilled a three‑pointer with just over five minutes remaining. Bielak continued to be aggressive offensively down the stretch as the Bobcats closed out the contest.

Walden led Pitt‑Greensburg with 12 points, while Bielak and Musto each finished with 11. Abby Henise anchored the effort on the boards with a team‑high 10 rebounds as the Bobcats battled through all four quarters.

The Bobcat women return home Wedneday for a conference matchup with Mount Aloysius. Tipoff is scheduled for 7PM.
