Pitt‑Greensburg women's basketball could not overcome Penn State Behrend's pressure and efficiency on Saturday afternoon at Chambers Hall, falling 103–47 in AMCC play.

The Bobcats opened the game with strong half‑court execution, answering Behrend's early baskets with drives from Abby Henise and Laura Vittone to stay within 6–4 midway through the opening quarter. But Behrend quickly swung the momentum with a series of turnovers converted into transition points, using a 9–0 run to create separation. The Lions led 25–10 after one and extended their advantage behind a high‑powered second quarter.

Pitt‑Greensburg found better rhythm coming out of halftime. Addison Musto drilled a three from the right wing early in the third, and Ca'Mari Walden knocked down mid‑range jumpers on consecutive trips. Jocelyn Bielak added a drive to the rim and a free throw as the Bobcats posted 15 points in the period— their highest of the afternoon.

The fourth quarter brought more bright spots for UPG. Walden opened the frame with a jumper, Musto hit her second three of the game off a Bielak assist, and Bielak closed the scoring with a late layup in the final minute.

Bielak led the Bobcats with 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists in a strong all‑around performance. Musto finished with 10 points, including two threes, while Henise added nine points and four rebounds. Vittone pulled down a team‑high eight boards to go with six points, and Walden provided eight points off the bench.

UPG shot 35.8% from the field and collected 35 rebounds, but 32 turnovers proved costly as Behrend consistently turned defensive pressure into points at the other end.

The Bobcat women return to action Monday as they travel to Carlow for a 7PM tip
