The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg women's soccer team has been selected to finish second in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) in the 2026 preseason coaches' poll, as announced by the conference Monday.

The Bobcats received the second spot in the poll behind three-time defending AMCC champion Penn State Behrend. Penn State Altoona was selected third, followed by Mount Aloysius, La Roche, Hilbert, Pitt-Bradford and Carlow.

Pitt-Greensburg enters the 2026 season following a strong 2025 campaign in which the Bobcats went 9-9-3 and 6-1-1 in AMCC competition. The Bobcats return several key contributors from last season, including a pair of junior all-conference selections in defender Tiger Santia and forward Bella Carroto.

Santia earned AMCC First Team All-Conference honors in 2025 while also receiving Second Team All-ECAC recognition and a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Fourth Team. She was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week three times last season and led the Bobcats with 10 assists. Her eight assists during conference play ranked first in the league. Santia anchored a Pitt-Greensburg backline that surrendered just one goal and recorded seven shutouts during the AMCC regular season. Santia was also selected as one of the AMCC's Preseason Co-Defensive Players of the Year alongside Penn State Behrend's Anna Steinbeck.

Carroto returns after a standout sophomore season that earned her AMCC Second Team All-Conference and Second Team All-ECAC honors. She also received CSC Academic All-District recognition. Carroto led the Bobcats with 14 goals and 32 points in 2025, finishing conference play as the AMCC's leading goal scorer with 10 goals and second in points with 23. She tied for first in the league in overall points and ranked second in overall goals.

The Bobcats will look to build on last season's success under 14th-year head coach Chuck Wigle. With Santia and Carroto leading a talented group of returning players, Pitt-Greensburg enters the season among the conference's top contenders and will look to challenge for the AMCC championship.

The 2026 AMCC Championship is scheduled for Nov. 7 at the site of the highest remaining seed, with the tournament champion earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
