The Pitt-Greensburg men's golf team battled through a rain-affected Saturday at the Stateline Shootout, with Team A finishing fifth overall and Team B placing ninth after three rounds of competition.

Team A finished with a 54-hole score of 908, posting rounds of 300, 304 and 304.

Ethan Rice and Seth Tomalski led Team A, each finishing at 10-over par with a three-round total of 226. Rice carded rounds of 74, 72 and 80, highlighted by an even-par second round. Tomalski improved throughout the tournament, following rounds of 77 and 76 with a 1-over 73 in the final round.

Anthony Treonze finished at 230 (+14) with rounds of 75, 78 and 77. Nicholas Thomas was one shot behind at 231 (+15) after rounds of 75, 78 and 78, while Louis Nedzinski finished at 232 (+16) with rounds of 76, 80 and 76.

Team B earned a ninth-place finish with a three-round total of 935, recording team scores of 311, 310 and 314.

Codi Fennell and Ryan Karfelt paced Team B, both finishing at 226 (+10). Fennell bounced back from an opening-round 78 by firing back-to-back 74s, while Karfelt was consistent throughout the tournament with rounds of 76, 75 and 75.

Eli Armstrong provided one of Pitt-Greensburg's strongest opening rounds, shooting a 1-over 73, and finished at 240 (+24). Jayden Diehl totaled 243 (+27), including a second-round 76. Lucas Judy competed in the opening round and carded an 84.

Despite rain impacting play on Saturday, the Bobcats put four golfers at 10-over 226 between the two squads. Team A's consistency across all three rounds helped secure a fifth-place finish, while Team B completed the Stateline Shootout in ninth.
