Scott Adams finished his eighth year at the helm of the Bobcat baseball program in 2024. Over his seven years the Bobcats have won 105 games and have made the AMCC playoffs five of the eight seasons, with the 2020 campaign being canceled due to the pandemic.
 
Under his leadership, the Bobcats have three of the program’s top five batting averages for a season, with the record coming in 2021 as the Bobcats hit .354 with 353 hits and 193 runs scored. Adams also led the program to their first AMCC Championship Series in 2018 as the team won a school-record 26 wins. Overall, Adams has coached 30 All-AMCC Selections and four D3 Baseball and ABCA All-Region Players.
 
Adams began his coaching career in his hometown, he was hired as Belle Vernon Area's Varsity Assistant Coach in 2007, then served as BVA's Junior Varsity Coach in 2008, followed by stints as the school's freshman baseball Head Coach in 2009 & 2011.  Adam's progression continued in 2012 as Head Coach of the Greensburg Central Catholic High School baseball team before making the jump to the collegiate game in 2013.

He also took over as the Pitt-Greensburg Men's Golf coach in 2022.
 
Adams completed his collegiate studies at California University of Pennsylvania, graduating with High Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.
