Biography
2019-20 at Pitt-Greensburg: Academic All-AMCC..Third Team All-AMCC....Appeared in 26 games and made four starts in her first season for the Bobcats...unior transfer, Shaquoia McCray, was the sixth-woman for the Bobcats and made the most of her minutes, as she collected third team all-conference status for the 2019-20 campaign. She led the AMCC in rebounds per 40 minutes by two whole rebounds. She posted a 17.4 mark in the rebounds per 40 minutes category. McCray corralled a conference best 112 offensive rebounds and was fourth in total rebounds, with 252. She was the lone player to be in the top 20 in either of those categories with under 600 minutes played. The Erie native hauled in 20 rebounds in the third game of the season, in which she recorded her first of an eventual eight double-doubles on the year. She netted 18 points in the win at Mount Aloysius for her season high. McCray's final line on the year was 9.1 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game, which is good for third and second on the team, respectively.
Prior to Pitt-Greensburg: A transfer from Mercyhurst North East, and graduate of Central Tech. High School. Was Third-Team All-Region at Mercyhurst her Freshman year, and First-Team All-Region her Sophomore year.
Personal: Â Born on May 6, 1999 in Erie, PA and is the daughter of Fay Smith McCray and Cory McCray. Currently majoring in Psychology.
