Chuck Wigle enters his 12th season as head coach of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg's women's soccer program in 2024.

He led the Bobcats to their fourth-consecutive AMCC Championship appearance in 2023. Behind eight All-AMCC selections, including offensive and defensive player of the year, the Bobcats earned the program's first ECAC win in school history, and finished runners-up in the regional tournament. 

Wigle led the Bobcats to the program's second AMCC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022. He reached the 100 win mark and was named AMCC, as well as, department Coach of the Year in 2023. The women's soccer team was named Peak Performer in 2023 with the highest GPA out of all the women's soccer teams in the AMCC. 

Overall, Wigle has coached 44 All-Conference selections, eight All-Region selections, five AMCC Player of the Year Nominees, four AMCC Newcomer of the Year Nominees, and has made the AMCC Playoffs in nine of his seasons, making the championship game four times. Wigle was named AMCC Coach of the Year three times. 

Wigle served as an assistant coach for the men’s team at Pitt-Greensburg for the 2010,2011, and 2012 seasons.

Wigle’s coaching career began in 1999 when he took over the U-14 Foothills Soccer Club Team. He took over a team that had won just six games the previous year and in his first year at the helm increased the team’s winning total to 12 in just one season. In 2003 he led his Foothills squad to the PA West State Championship game.

In 2001 Wigle was named the Assistant Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach at his alma mater Penn Trafford High School and helped lead the varsity program to three section titles during his tenure. He also spent two seasons as the assistant coach of the Penn’s Forest Soccer Club’s U-16 program, where he played an integral role in the programs second ever PA West Championship.

Wigle, a 1999 graduate of local St. Vincent College was a two-time Keystone Empire All-Conference Selection.
