Volleyball rolls past Mt. Aloysius, earns first conference victory

GREENSBURG, Pa:  The Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball team played one of their best games of the season in rolling over conference foe Mt. Aloysius, 3-0 at home on Tuesday evening.

The Bobcats won the first two games rather easily at 25-19 and 25-15, before earning a come from behind win in game three, 25-23. 

Senior captain, Jaime Barkman led the Bobcat attack with 14 kills, while freshman Paige Misawic set the offense with 24 assists.
First year hitters Lauren Tassone and Julie Barron each added 7 kills apiece while classmate Emily Zelenka had a game high 12 digs.

The victory gives the Bobcats their first win in the AMCC (1-5) while Mt. Aloysius remains winless in the conference.

Pitt-Greensburg will look to keep the momentum rolling when they host Pitt-Bradford this Saturday (Oct 26).  Saturday's contest will also be senior day for the Lady Bobcats.  Game time is set for 2pm.
