Box Score FROSTBURG, Md:  Pitt-Greensburg men's soccer suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss Friday afternoon, falling 2-1 to Buffalo State on day 1 of the Frostburg State soccer tournament.

CJ Scirto got the scoring started, putting Buffalo State on the board 1-0, at the 14:43 mark.  Shortly into the second half, the Bobcats tied the game, thanks to a tally from 2 time All-AMCC performer Jeremy Niemiec (Scottdale, PA, Southmoreland) (50:01)   The score would remain deadlocked at 1 for the remainder of regulation, forcing an overtime period.  Unfortunately for the Bobcats, it would be Buffalo State's Anthony Appiani who knocked home a loose ball shortly into overtime, giving the Bengals the victory.

Both defenses played tough, and Bobcat goalkeeper Brandon Galley (Mt. Pleasant, PA, Southmoreland) made 9 saves in net, keeping his team in the game.  However the Bobcat offense was only able to manage a total of 4 shots on goal, with Niemiec's lone tally being the extent of the scoring.

The Bobcats (0-1) will aim to even their record on the young season when they take on the host team, Frostburg State in a matchup of former AMCC opponents.  Game time for Saturday (Aug 31) is set for 2:30pm.
