Men's Soccer opens with heartbreaking overtime loss to Buffalo State, 2-1
Box Score FROSTBURG, Md: Pitt-Greensburg men's soccer suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss Friday afternoon, falling 2-1 to Buffalo State on day 1 of the Frostburg State soccer tournament.

Unfortunately for the Bobcats, it would be Buffalo State's Anthony Appiani who knocked home a loose ball shortly into overtime, giving the Bengals the victory.

Brandon Galley (Mt. Pleasant, PA, Southmoreland) made 9 saves in net, keeping his team in the game. However the Bobcat offense was only able to manage a total of 4 shots on goal, with Niemiec's lone tally being the extent of the scoring.
The Bobcats (0-1) will aim to even their record on the young season when they take on the host team, Frostburg State in a matchup of former AMCC opponents. Game time for Saturday (Aug 31) is set for 2:30pm.
