The Bobcats (0-4) hung tough in a first half defensive battle, with both teams deadlocked at zero, 30 minutes into the game.  Case Western's Ryan Finstad found the back of the net at the 32:41 mark in the first half, giving the Spartans a 1-0 lead going into the half.

The score remained 1-0 until Case Western (1-0-2) suddenly found their offensive rhythm, breaking through the Bobcat defense for 3 second half goals, pushing their lead to 4-0 where it would remain.

Pitt-Greensburg found scoring chances to be few and far between on Saturday, registering just 2 total shots, 1 in each half.  Despite the 4 goals, Brandon Galley (Mt. Pleasant, PA, Southmoreland) kept his team in the game, registering 8 saves total.
