BUFFALO, NY: Pitt-Greensburg got an early goal from senior
Tiffanni Downey but it was the D'Youville Spartans who came out with a 2-1 overtime victory Saturday afternoon in Buffalo.
Pitt-Greensburg drops to 4-6-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the AMCC while D'Youville improves to 4-2-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference.

th minute giving UPG a 1-0 lead. It was Downey's 4
th goal of the season.
D'Youville evened the score in the 34
th minute when Mallory Hojnacki scored on a penalty kick.
In the overtime period, Melissa LaVere scored the game winning goal in the 98
th minute to give D'Youville an important conference victory.
Pitt-Greensburg nearly pulled off the victory, despite being outshot 19-3 on the day. DYC also held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Shannon Edwards made 11 saves in goal for the Bobcats in the losing effort.
UPG will look to pick up an AMCC win on Wednesday when they host Mt. Aloysius College at 2pm.
