The Green Terror held the lead wire to wire Friday night, shooting 45% from the floor.  McDaniel dominated play in the first half and held a 17 point advantage 39-22 at the break.

In the second half, the Bobcats would get as close as 8 points but couldn't string enough offense together shooting 41% from the floor and putting up an uncharacteristic 65 points of offense, as they fell to 1-1 on the young season.

UPG was led by senior Marcus Thomas (Uniontown, PA, Uniontown) who dropped 19 points and 5 points on the night. Classmate Jerell Figueroa (Dover, PA, Dover Area) finished the evening with 14 points to go along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.  Fellow senior Rocco Contristano (Pittsburgh, PA, Keystone Oaks) rounded out the scoring with a double-double posting 10 points and 10 rebounds.
