BUFFALO, NY:   Pitt-Greensburg earned an all-important AMCC road victory Saturday afternoon, knocking off host D'Youville College 95-91 to improve to 8-2 in the league.

The victory keeps Pitt-Greensburg in sole possession of 2nd place in the AMCC with 8 games remaining on the slate.

On Saturday, the two teams squared off in a competitive first half, with the Bobcats holding the slight 46-45 edge at the half.

After the Spartans regained the lead on a three-pointer to open the second half, the Bobcats went on a 12-0 run and never trailed again in the contest.  However, D'Youville did make it interesting, climbing to within 2 points in the final minute of play.

The Bobcats had six players score in double figures, including Figueroa, who finished the game with 14 points and 5 rebounds to go along with 5 assists.  Leading the attack for UPG was senior forward Rocco Contristano with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
