BRADFORD- Brianna Burgunder's goal in the 87
th minute tied the game and led the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team (3-6-2, 1-1-1 AMCC) to a 3-3 tie with Pitt-Bradford (3-4-3, 0-0-2 AMCC) in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Jessica Moore opened the scoring for the Bobcats in the 17
th minute and
Kayleen Schwegler netted her sixth goal of the season as Pitt-Greensburg led 2-0 at the halftime break.
Pitt-Bradford scored three-straight goals to take a 3-2 lead with five minutes remaining in regulation, but Burgunder notched her third goal of the season with just under four minutes left in the second half.
Pitt-Greensburg outshot Pitt-Bradford 6-4 in the overtime periods, including 3-0 in the second OT, but both teams gained a point after the 3-3 draw.
Pitt-Bradford outshot the Bobcats 29-15, but
Shannon Edwards played one of the best games of the season in net making a season-high 13 saves.
The Bobcats return to the field Tuesday, when it faces Juniata in a non-conference match at 3:30 p.m.
