HUNTINGDON- Juniata (4-4-3) scored six first-half goals en route to an 8-2 victory over the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team (3-7-2), in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead just four minutes into the match and added two additional goals and led 3-0 with 25 minutes left in the opening period.
Scoring for Pitt-Greensburg were
Camille Hickman, who notched her third goal of the season in the 50
th minute and Kayleen
Kayleen Schwegler who tallied her seventh of the year in the 76
th minute. Hickman's three goals all have come in the last three games, while Schwegler found the back of the for a second-straight match.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday (Oct. 8) when they face Medaille at Hempfield High School. Saturday's match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
