Pitt-Greensburg shot the ball connecting on 25-of-61 from the field for a 41.0% clip and won the rebounding battle 51-39, but the Mounties were aggressive on defense and forced 25 turnovers. Mt. Along with Oddis' game-high 24 points, Colleen Murphy scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Lyndy Baer had 10 points, hauled in seven rebounds, and dished out six assists. Pitt-Greensburg led for the first nine minutes of the opening quarter, but the lead would change hands with 1:01 left in the opening period as Katie Bracken's layup gave the Mounties a 17-15 advantage heading into the second quarter.

Mount Aloysius continued to hold the lead for all of the second 10 minutes, extending its lead to as much as six, but the Bobcats chipped away at the deficit and would go into the halftime break trailing 34-31.

The lead would change hands once again just under halfway gone in the third quarter on Sylvia Stuart's layup, but Mt. Aloysius responded with an 8-0 run to push their lead to seven (47-40) with 2:49 left in the quarter.

It looked as if Pitt-Greensburg would go into the final stanza trailing by two, but Alexia Servello banked home a shot as the buzzer sounded to put Mount Aloysius ahead 51-47 heading into the final 10 minutes.

Mt. Aloysius sprinted to a 59-51 lead with 7:30 left in the game, but like they had done all game trimmed the defecit to three, 61-58 on Stuart's layup with 4:38 left.

Oddis' three-pointer cut the Mt. Alosyius lead to 66-65 with 35 seconds left, but the Servello's layup on the ensuing posession with nine seconds left second the Mounties to the 68-65 victory.
