LATROBE- The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team (2-5) tied a season-high four goals and Shannon Edwards stopped all five shots she faced in a 4-0 victory over Muskingum (2-5) on Saturday afternoon at Latrobe High School.

Entering Saturday's game, the Bobcats had not scored a goal in the past five games, but despite just have two subs on the afternoon due to multiple injuries, Pitt-Greensburg tied a season-high with four goals and totaled 16 shots, 10 of which they fired toward the Fighting Muskie goal.

Kayleen Schwegler netted two goals on the afternoon and totaled a game-high six shots, while Brianna Burgunder and Courtney Hrycko each knocked in their first goal of the season. Burgunder helped set up both of Schwegler's goals with fantastic passes, as the sophomore managed her second and third assists of the season.

Pitt-Greensburg was on the attack much of the game as it outshot Muskingum 16-11, including holding a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal.

Emily Wiley and Moran Price each had solid games for the Muskies, as they each totaled a team-high three shots.

Early in the first half of play, Hrycko gave the Bobcats a 1-0 lead, as she fired a curling shot from inside the six yard box that ricocheted off the far post and into the back of the net.

Schwegler added onto the Pitt-Greensburg lead as she was the receipient of a great pass from Burgunder and fired a shot that beat the keeper.

Schwegler added her second goal of the match with just under 90 seconds remaining in the half and just after halftime, Burgunder etched her name in the scorebook with her first goal of the season, as Pitt-Greensburg went on for the 4-0 victory.
