ERIE- The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team lost its Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opener 8-0 at Penn State Behrend on Saturday afternoon.
The Lions led 2-0 at halftime and added six goals in the second half of play. Penn State Behrend wore down the Bobcats in the second half, as Pitt-Greensburg was playing with no subs on the afternoon. The Bobcats have battled injuries to many of its players in the past few weeks.
Kaitlyn Watson got the start in net for the Bobcats and recorded a season-high 11 saves in the loss.
Pitt-Greensburg returns to action on Tuesday, when it hosts Franciscan for its AMCC home-opener at 6:30 p.m.
