CRESSON-Mount Aloysius rallied from a 1-0 deficit and scored two goals in the second half to defeat the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team 2-1 Tuesday afternoon in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match.
Bri Burgunder notched her 14th goal of the season to give the Bobcats a 1-0 advantage just six minutes into the opening half, but Mt. Aloysius notched in the final 45 minutes of regulation and held on for the 2-1 victory.

Burgunder set a new career-high with her 14th goal of the season to give the Bobcats the lead early on in the opening half. The Pitt-Greensburg junior midfielder scored off the counter attack in which she fired a shot into the left side netting to put the Bobcats ahead 1-0.
The Mounties would tie the game at one less than two minutes into the second half on Jordan Gebhart's seventh of the season. Katie Mirance drilled a shot from outside the 18-yard box and into the top part of the net to tie the match.
Mt. Aloysius would strike once again with 23 minutes left in regulation. Mirance drilled a shot from outside the 18-yard box and into the upper part of the net to send the Mounties to the 2-1 victory.
Pitt-Greensburg was held to just three shots in the opening half compared to six for the home side, but the Bobcats doubled their offensive output with six attempts in the final 45 minutes.
Burgunder led Pitt-Greensburg with four shot attempts, followed by three from
Camille Hickman and two shots from
Camdyn Bass.
Kaitlyn Watson recorded a season-high eight shots in defeat for the Bobcats.
