Men’s Basketball Falls In Regular-Season Finale At Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD- Joe Mancini and Kyle Bondi each tallied double-digit scoring outputs with 12 but the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team fell 72-49 at Pitt-Bradford in the regular-season finale Saturday afternoon.

Pitt-Greensburg went into the halftime break trailing by 10 and came out in the second half and shot 45.8% from the field, while holding the Panthers to just 13-of-42, but Pitt-Bradford connected on five three-pointers and knocked down 11-of-13 from the line to send the hosts to the victory.

Mancini knocked down four three's to tie his second highest outing of the season, and Bondi came off the bench and chipped in with 12 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Cody Spaid also had a nice game for the Bobcats tallying seven points on 3-of-5 shooting and also hauled down 10 rebounds.

Evan Greening showed why he was selected as the AMCC Preason Player of the Year scoring a game-high 23 points and grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds. Sahlil Harris helped propel the Panthers to victory on the defensive end tallying 10 steals.

Pitt-Greensburg has a bright future ahead next season and beyond as it will return 10 of its 11 players for the 2017-18 season.
