Men’s Tennis Drops Conference Match To Franciscan Friday Afternoon

Box Score GREENSBURG- The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team dropped an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup with Franciscan, falling by a score of 8-1 Friday afternoon at the Greensburg Racquet Club.

Franciscan rolled to a quick 3-0 advantage as it won all three singles matches and kept the momentum going in singles action, claiming victories in five of the six events.

Zachary Pivirotto gave the Bobcats the lone victory on the afternoon taking down Jarek Sulak at #1 singles, 6-4 6-4.

Jacob Chovanec came up just short in keeping his perfect undefeated season alive, falling 6-1, 7-5 at #4 singles. Chovanec now stands at 7-1 on the season.

The Bobcats will be back in action Sunday, when they play host to Penn State Altoona at 5:30 p.m.
