GREENSBURG- Penn State Behrend scored three first half goals en route to a 3-0 victory over the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team Saturday afternon in its Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opener at Ridilla Field.
Behrend scored three goals in the opening 22 minutes of action, but Pitt-Greensburg would not allow a goal for the remainder of the match.

Shannon Edwards played well in defeat, making seven saves, four of which came in the second half of play, in which she played a key part in helping Pitt-Greensburg pitch a shutout.
After halftime, Pitt-Greensburg came out with a spirited effort and managed four corner kicks, while holding the Lions to just one opportunity.
Pitt-Greensburg takes to the field Tuesday, when it travels to Steubenville, Ohio to face Franciscan. Tuesday's match is scheduled for 4:15 pm.
