GREENSBURG- Pitt-Bradford scored three second-half goals en route to a 3-1 victory over the Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team Friday afternoon at Ridilla Field.
Pitt-Greensburg took a 1-0 lead over
Camille Hickman's fourth goal of the season in the 15th minute of action. Hickman displayed her dribbling abilities maneuvering around multiple defenders then fired a shot to the lower right hand corner of the net, which deflected off the Pitt-Bradford goalie and into the net.
The Bobcats and the Panthers each totaled five shot attempts in the opening 45 minutes of action, but Hickman's goal proved to be the difference, as Pitt-Greensburg went into the break leading 1-0.
Kaitlyn Williams tied the game at one for the Panthers in the 52 minute. The Panthers drew a free kick in the offensive end and Williams stepped up for the free kick and ripped a shot into the upper right hand corner of the net to tie the game at one.
The game would remain tied until the 70th minute when Megan Thomas notched the Panthers second goal of the afternoon and Williams followed with her second goal of the game, as Pitt-Bradford would hang on for the 3-1 decision.
Pitt-Greensburg returns to the field Tuesday afternoon, when it plays host to Juniata for the final non-conference game of the season at 4 pm.
